Please read the shipping instructions below carefully and ensure they are followed exactly. If someone is assisting you with shipping your flowers, make sure they also follow these instructions exactly.

 

FLOWER CARE — Before Shipping

For the best preservation results, follow these simple steps:

• Trim the stems (about ½ inch) at an angle and place the bouquet in fresh water. Avoid submerging the stems too deeply.
  

• Keep your flowers in water until ready to ship
  

• If your arrangement contains floral foam, be sure to water this foam to keep the flowers hydrated
  
  

• Change the water daily and add flower food if available.

• Store your flowers in a cool place. You can even keep them in the fridge—just ensure it’s set to a temperature that won’t freeze them.

• DO NOT leave your arrangement sitting in direct sunlight!

• Avoid any water droplets on the flower petals

 

MATERIALS - What You'll Need

• 1 large box at least 2 inches wider than your flower arrangement on all sides

  • Too small and it could get smashed during shipping

  • Too large and it will likely increase the price to ship

• Packaging tape

• Parchment paper

• Packaging material 

  •  Crumbled newspaper, Paper towels - NO plastic!

• Paper Towels

• Aluminum foil

• Scissors

PACKAGE YOUR FLOWERS - Step-By-Step Guide

 

1. Use a Large Box as described above — no need for an oversized box.

2. Wrap only the stems with wet paper towels, ensuring the bottoms are covered. Then, place aluminum foil over the stems. You can secure it with a rubber band. This will ensure your flowers have a water source during transit. 

3. Keep the bouquet upright to protect petals. Avoid squishing.

4. Wrap blossoms loosely with Parchment Paper (NO bubble wrap and avoid packing peanuts). 

5. Fill gaps with loose paper towels (sheets only, no full rolls) or packaging material of your choice (NO plastic) to prevent shifting.

6. If possible, include extra flowers from centerpieces to replace any damaged blooms

7. Print receipt of purchase, and place on top of packaging material

• • If you are unable to print your receipt, place a note inside the box with your name, order number, and the contents of the box (ex. arrangement, bouquet, etc...)

• If you would like to include any add ons (Picture, Invite, Obituary, Cake topper, etc) in the finished piece, please add a note in the package along with your add on. (Only available for 16x20 and 18x24 Frames)

OVERNIGHT SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

Please ship your flowers within 24-48 hours of your event. If you are local to the Zebulon, NC area, please reach out with your order number to schedule your drop-off. 

• FedEx: Priority Overnight (delivers by 10:30 a.m.)
• UPS: Next Day Air (delivers by 10:30 a.m.)
• USPS: Overnight (delivers between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.)
